Batangas State University, The National Engineering University (BatStateU The NEU) has strengthened its commitment to quality engineering education through a strategic partnership with LIMA Land Inc. and Aboitiz Foundation Inc.. Signed on February 12, 2026, at the Talent Edge Hub, BizHub, LIMA Estate, the agreement underscores the university’s belief that strong industry collaboration is essential to ensure relevant and practical education.
As the country’s only National Engineering University under Republic Act No. 11694, BatStateU’s Microcredentialing Program delivers stackable, industry-validated training aligned with emerging technologies. By co-designing and co-delivering courses with industrial partners, the university ensures that curricula are responsive to real workplace standards and evolving sector needs.
The partnership allows LIMA Land and its locators to provide direct industry insights, enhancing program relevance and equipping professionals with skills immediately applicable in their workplaces. Courses span high-demand fields such as Data Science, Cybersecurity, Networking Essentials, IoT, GIS, BIM, and Project Planning using Primavera P6, with co-assessment ensuring alignment with sector expectations.
Aboitiz Foundation supports enrollment and training costs, further facilitating access while reinforcing a shared vision of industry-led education. University President Dr. Tirso A.
