The meeting aims to create strategies to attain the 57% target of the unvaccinated 5-11 years old children in the CALABARZON Region by the end of June.

“This has been our plan, to convene all our partner agencies to strengthen our collaborative efforts in improving vaccination acceptance among parents and guardians of 5-11-year-old children, now that many of them have started the face-to-face classes,” Asst. Regional Director Hernandez said.

“School-aged children have a higher risk of getting infected with COVID-19; that’s why other than our elders and those who have comorbidities, these children are one of our top priorities,” Hernandez emphasized.
