PCSO backs LAB for All in Antipolo City

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) contributed free lotto tickets and 1,500 ‘ChariTimba’ food packs to the LAB For All initiative of First Lady Liza Araneta-Marcos which was rolled out Thursday, August 8, 2024 at the Ynares Events Center in Antipolo, Rizal.

PCSO officials Chairman Ret. Judge Felix P. Reyes, together with Dir. Janet De Leon Mercado and Dir. Jennifer E. Liongson – Guevara, led the distribution of the food packs and 500 free lotto tickets for all Rizaleños who were present during the caravan.

Meanwhile, PCSO also handed over a check worth 15,573,482.60 to Rizal Governor Nina Ynares and Antipolo Mayor Casimiro Ynares III, representing the lotto shares of the province.

According to Executive Order No. 357-A, the PCSO is mandated to share lotto proceeds to LGUs where lotto tickets are sold. Cities and municipalities receive 5 percent, while provinces receive 2 percent.

The PCSO’s contribution in the LAB for All program is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. to bring government services closer to Filipinos.|
