“LAHAT po [ng mga palay] ay okay at walang sakit. Lahat po ng ibinigay ng DA [na binhi] ay magaganda. Tama at hindi nagkukulang ang naani ng mga miyembro namin mula sa mga naibigay.”

This was the statement of Mr. Eladio de Limos, President of Inobuan San Francisco Irrigators Association Inc., when asked about the seeds he received and planted from the Department of Agriculture (DA)’s Rice Resiliency Program II (RRP2) during the field monitoring of Agricultural Programs Coordinating Office – Quezon on April 20-21 in the municipalities of Macalelon, San Narciso, and San Francisco regarding the project.

The field monitoring was conducted to ensure that the recipients of the RRP 2 interventions were having an abundant harvest and high income.

The field monitoring was led by DA-4A APCO-Quezon RRP 2 Coordinators Mhariet Bacillo, Alyzza Pontsor, Ana Lyka Verdadero, and John Cedrick Catacutan with the APCO Rice Staff Iris Hernandez, Veniza Camille Osalsa, and Jeric Macariola.

DA-4A will continue to give its support and assistance to the RRP 2 recipients through its initiatives like providing farm production and trainings to rice farmers.|(With report from Reina Beatriz P. Peralta)
