BATANGAS CITY — Batangas just proved once again that local talent can shine on the national stage. Two Batangas State University–Alangilan graduates not only passed the November 2025 Chemical Engineers Licensure Examination (CELE) — they dominated it.
Leading the entire country is Abell Armamento Alcantara, who scored an impressive 90.30%, topping all 719 new chemical engineers. Following close behind is fellow Batangueño Johncel James Villalobos Dela Rosa, who clinched the 4th spot with 87.80%. Their achievement instantly put Batangas in the spotlight and sparked pride across the province.
BatStateU–Alangilan also delivered a standout performance: out of 89 examinees, 83.15% passed, earning the university a spot on the list of top-performing schools this year. For many young Batangueños aspiring to enter the engineering field, this year’s CELE is solid proof that world-class success is possible — kahit taga-Batangas ka, kaya mo makipagsabayan sa buong Pilipinas.
