“Girl Power” reigns in typhoon-ravaged areas

“Girl Power” was in full force Wednesday as Senator Imee Marcos and Davao City mayor Sara Dutere joined hands to assist residents in five provinces that were hardest hit by Typhoon Rolly.

Marcos and Duterte first arrived by chopper in Legazpi City, Albay at 10 a.m. and then proceeded to Naga City, Camarines Sur, distributing relief goods.

The Marcos-Duterte tandem also visited Marinduque, Batangas, and Quezon later in the afternoon to get in touch with victims of the typhoon and bring relief assistance to them consisting of 150 cavans of rice.

Said donations were received by Provincial Administrator Librado Dimaunahan and Provincial Information Officer / Chief of Staff Ma. Isabel Bejasa as representatives of Governor Dodo Mandanas who is on work from home (WFH)

Also present during the visit and turn-over of relief goods were Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development Undersecretary Meynard Sabili, Police Regional Office 4-A Chief, Brig. Gen. Vicente Danao, 5th District Board Members Claudette Ambida-Alday and Arthur Blanco, 3rd District Board Member Rudy Balba, Batangas PCL President at Ex-Officio Board Member Ronald Cruzat, the department heads of the provincial government and capitol employees.
