Earns Silver Award with P100,000 cash prize

State pension fund Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) has received a Php100,000 monetary incentive from the Anti-Red Tape Authority (ARTA) for its exemplary performance under the ARTA Report Card Survey (ARTA-RCS).

The GSIS has obtained the highest rating of 92.8% or “Very Satisfactory”  (Silver Award) among 50 government agencies in the ARTA-RCS in December 2022.

The ARTA-RCS 2.0, a joint project of the Civil Service Commission and the Philippine Statistics Authority, assesses the efficiency of a government agency in minimizing bureaucracy and optimizing service delivery.

“We’re thankful to ARTA for the Silver award. By leveraging technology, we aim to provide our members and pensioners with the utmost “ginhawa” and convenience in their transactions. We take pride that 95% of these are now online, heeding the call of the President to streamline and digitalize government service,” GSIS President and General Manager Wick Veloso said.

For his part, ARTA Director General Ernesto Perez said that “this monetary incentive is a reaffirmation of the Silver award that was given to GSIS last December. May you continue to set the highest standards because the people deserve nothing less, and I hope that you will continue to support ARTA in its endeavors.”|-pr
