Must read

MANILA – The Philippine Deposit Insurance Corporation (PDIC) is offering investors and property buyers a rare opportunity to acquire prime real estate assets through its electronic public bidding (e-bidding) scheduled on April 29–30, 2026.

Submission of bids will begin at 9:00 a.m. on April 29 and close at 1:00 p.m. on April 30, with bid opening set at 2:00 p.m. on the same day. The auction will be conducted through the PDIC’s digital platform, providing transparent and direct access to available properties.

Among the highlighted offerings are two vacant residential lots located in the gated Lakewood City and Villa Benita subdivisions in Cabanatuan City. The properties, measuring 475 and 540 square meters, carry minimum bid prices of PHP4.4 million and PHP4.9 million, respectively.

The e-bidding also features a wide range of properties across Luzon, including 22 agricultural lots, 17 residential lots, and six mixed-use properties. These are located in key areas such as Metro Manila, Batangas, Bulacan, Laguna, Palawan, Pangasinan, and Rizal, among others.

Interested buyers must complete a one-time registration through the official PDIC e-bidding portal to participate. All properties are offered on an “as-is, where-is” basis, and bidders are encouraged to conduct due diligence prior to submitting offers.

PDIC said proceeds from the sale of closed bank assets will be used to settle claims of creditors, including depositors with uninsured funds, and to support the Deposit Insurance Fund.
