With his family going all the way from Isabela to Quezon to cheer him on, Gonzales delivered 22 points including 19 in the second half as the Huskers completed a stunning reversal for a 2-1 series win.
With 7,000 audience filling the bleachers of the convention center, the Quezon Huskers come away with a reverse sweep to be crowned South Division champions and advance to their first ever MPBL National Finals!
At half time, Batangas City edged Quezon with four (4) points at 34-30 score, but missed five (5) points at the end of the game, paving the way for Huskers to rise to the top of the South Division.
