LIPA City proudly announces the return of the Barako Cup Golf Tournament, now in its second year, as part of the highly anticipated Fiesta ng Lipa 2025. This exciting annual event showcases the city’s premier golf courses—the Mount Malarayat Golf and Country Club and the Summit Point Golf & Residential Estates —and highlights Lipa as a destination for sports, culture, and community spirit.
The 2nd Barako Cup Golf Tournament will welcome 400 players in teams of four, with participants from across the country and abroad. Golf games are scheduled from January 15 to 17, 2025 offering thrilling competition at the two world-class venues.
The tournament will culminate in an elegant Awarding Ceremony on January 17, 2025 at Claro M. Recto Event Center . The evening will feature a sumptuous dinner catered by Lorenzo’s Place and live entertainment by Anna and the Cage Band Exciting raffle prizes will also be up for grabs, adding to the celebration.
The 2nd Barako Cup is spearheaded by Damasus C. Wong of Circle 8 Entertainment Corp., in collaboration with Raul Montealto, the JT Moland Group, Romeo Garcia of Malarayat Golf and Country Club and Vic de Guzman of Summit Golf and Residential Estates.
