The Department of Trade and Industry’s Competitiveness and Innovation Group (DTI-CIG) will host the DTI Asenso Talks on July 24, 2025 from 2 to 4PM, as one of the featured events of the National Trade Fair (NTF) 2025, happening from July 23 to 27, at Megatrade Halls 1-3, 5F Mega B, SM Megamall.
With the theme “DTI Asenso Talks sa NTF 2025: MSMEs, i-Startup Mo!”, the event will bring together local startup entrepreneurs and micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). By fostering meaningful dialogue, the event will help participants develop a more holistic understanding of their business needs and explore potential areas for collaboration— particularly, in innovation and digital solutions that can accelerate MSME growth.
“The DTI Asenso Talks serves as a strategic platform for our Filipino MSMEs to closely interact with our local startups and gain practical understanding of how innovative, market-ready solutions can be integrated into their business operations. Through this event, we aim to start the engine of and drive for innovation among our MSMEs, transforming them into digitally empowered enterprises that are more productive, more competitive, and better positioned for long-term growth,” said Assistant Secretary Nylah Rizza D. Bautista, Supervising Head of the DTI-CIG.
The event will feature a dynamic set of business talks, including the main segments: What’s Up sa Startups?: Teknolohiya at Makabagong Solusyon para sa MSMEs and AsenShow sa Negosyo with Startup.
These sessions will showcase a curated lineup of innovative startup solutions addressing specific MSME challenges. In addition, the featured digital solutions will also be on display during the NTF 2025 Day 2 exhibits. All segments are designed to open new market opportunities and strengthen linkages between startups and MSMEs as partners in achieving asenso.
Aligned with the DTI’s commitment to uplift our MSMEs, the DTI Asenso Talks forms an integral part of the NTF 2025’s innovation thrusts—providing enterprises with access to cutting-edge, Filipino-made products, advanced technologies, and modern production tools.
The DTI Asenso Talks is open to all interested MSMEs and startup entrepreneurs.
