A relentless 24-hour anti-drug blitz across CALABARZON led to the arrest of 39 drug suspects and the seizure of over ₱2.7 million worth of illegal substances, underscoring intensified police efforts against narcotics operations in the region.

From February 7 to 8, 2026, police conducted 28 coordinated operations that dismantled both street-level distribution and higher-value drug activities. Authorities confiscated 397.23 grams of suspected shabu and 8.83 grams of marijuana.

Among those arrested were seven high-value targets and 32 street-level individuals. Batangas logged the highest number of arrests with 17, followed by Cavite with 13, Rizal with five, and two each from Laguna and Quezon.

Police credited the success to improved operational strategies under the Enhanced Managing Police Operations (EMPO) framework, which emphasizes precision planning and disciplined execution.

PNP Chief PGen. Jose Melencio C. Nartatez Jr. said the operations demonstrate the effectiveness of coordinated law enforcement and called on communities to remain vigilant and cooperative.

Authorities stressed that sustained police presence and public participation remain key to curbing illegal drug activities and strengthening regional security.|
