DOST-CALABARZON, through DOST-Quezon, officially seals support for Polillo Island Cable Inc.

DOST-CALABARZON, through DOST-Quezon, conducted the ceremonial signing of the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with Polillo Island Cable Inc. to support the enhancement of the company’s ICT infrastructure through equipment acquisition and technological upgrading. The activity was held today, March 9, 2026, at the DOST-Quezon Office, Purok Baybayin, Lucena City, Quezon.

The project of Polillo Island Cable Inc., located in Polillo, Quezon, has been approved for funding under the Department of Science and Technology’s Small Enterprise Technology Upgrading Program (DOST-SETUP). The initiative aims to enhance service quality by minimizing signal loss, improving connection speed, increasing the number of available channels, and automating processes, thereby enabling improvements in the company’s overall performance.

Present during the activity were Mr. Neil Hamilton C. Escara, Chairman, and Mrs. Lorilie P. Escara, Board Treasurer of Polillo Island Cable Inc. Also present were Ms. Precious R. Monedera, Supervising Science Research Specialist, and Ms. Raiza Lyn N. Antenor, Project Technical Assistant II, from DOST-Quezon.|
