FPIP, Locators Named Among Tanauan’s Top Taxpayers for 2025

First Philippine Industrial Park and 10 of its locators were recognized among the top business and real property taxpayers for 2025 by the local government of Tanauan City.

City data showed that FPIP and its locators contributed nearly ₱700 million in taxes, accounting for a significant portion of the city’s total revenue for the year.

According to Ricky Carandang, Vice President and Head for Marketing, External Relations, and Communications of FPIP, the recognition underscores the strong partnership between the industrial park, its locators, and the city government.

“FPIP, together with our locators, has demonstrated a strong commitment to the City of Tanauan through our tax contributions. We will continue to support its growth and development,” Carandang said.

Several manufacturing firms within FPIP ranked among the city’s top business taxpayers, including First Philec Inc., PMFTC Inc., Astemo Philippines Corporation, Kerry Manufacturing Philippines Inc., and Uni-President Philippines Corp..

FPIP and its expansion site, First Industrial Township, Inc., also ranked among the top real property taxpayers, alongside locators such as Canon Business Machines Philippines Inc., Shimano Philippines Inc., and WCL Ventures Development Inc..

Some firms, including Honda Philippines Inc. and Nestlé Philippines Inc., were cited in both categories.

Mayor Nelson “Sonny” Collantes emphasized the private sector’s role in supporting public services and reaffirmed the city’s commitment to inclusive and sustainable development.|
